Reminiscing Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta died yesterday at the age of 82 after battling long with cancer. It's a great loss to the fashion industry, as he was amongst the finest of the designers of this century. Originally from Dominican Republic, De la Renta has worked at great fashion houses namely, Balenciaga, Lanvin, Dior, and Elizabeth Arden. His designs have been a favorite on the red carpet, of Hollywood A-listers, the Royalties and first ladies. He truly knew how to make a woman look beautiful.
